The IFIC Foundation has released a new infographic to illustrate how packaged foods can contribute to nutritional security.

This infographic is based on the American Society for Nutrition’s recently released scientific statement, “Processed Foods: contributions to nutrition.” Health professionals can utilize this resource to improve awareness of the nutritional benefits some packaged foods and increase consumer understanding that packaged are an important part of our affordable, safe, and nutritious food supply.
